Yes and most likely...the sending machine would not have gotten the proper handshake at the end of the DATA command and should have requeued the message for later delivery....I had another admin that was seeing this problem due the NIC errors. I had him setup the IMail Spool cleaner to delete messages more than a day old and schedule it to run at 11:50 PM to be sure he didn't eliminate messages in progress

(If so maybe they should update the KB) Are they lost or would the sending machine know that it hadn't been fully received by my server and then resend?
