Well, I have more data about this error. (Atleast Dimitri will read it ;o)
I have a simpler way to reproduce my problem just making an email to myselve
with no subject with 1000 blank lines in the body.
Thats all...
This will hung my pop session up.
I have the same result with 200 lines.....and random with 150...but 1000
will freez the session for sure.
Can you guys make the test in your servers?
Thanks

Is in fact a spam email.
One other test I have made, is installed eudora client to see if it was
an outlook problem, but it is not. I get the same TIME OUT error.
Eudora behave the same way.
I have an XP profesional as OS.
Made the test over two different nics....so Im geting to the point
that is a bug in IMail.
It is probably not handeling the right way a probably problematic email.
It is always with an email in HTML with pictures or an email with
attachments.
Once again, the problematic mailbox is here for you to download and
check.
1) create an email account named pepe in your domain
2) download the user folder from www.thehost.com.ar/imailproblem.zip and
unzip it
3) replace the folder pepe at your imail/yourdomain/users folder
4) create the acount in outlook express.
5) check email account pepe from outlook express or eudora.

Federico, i have read your message #2 and found that mail part number 3
is strange, looks like
many empty strings. I do not see the client in header. Probably some
spam program
generate this mail.
Try to remove all empty strings except one from this mail part and
repeat again.
Strange, because I was able to reproduce this in a new machine with a
new IMAIL installation.
BTW, the same email arrived today, and the same thing happend.
Any idea?
