the only domain setup in IMail is "domain1.com"
besides your solution will require for me to create as
many aliases in the virtual host as users I have for
"domain1.com".

wonder if this can be done in another manner using IMail.

In IMail Administrator --> Open Virtual Host for domain2.com --> Users (or could be an alias) --> Open Properties tab for that user --> Enter [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the Forward: property.
