Douglas, We also use Workgroup Share, snooping through its registry entries I noticed that when you integrate Workgroupshare with Active Directory it stores the user's network password in the registry unencrypted...so we moved everyone to workgroupshare users and did away with the active directory synchronization

Several clients wanted me to install MS Exchange in their office just so they could share the Calendar and Contacts folders in Outlook. I pushed back on Exchange and went looking for alternatives. So far the best alternative I have found is WorkgroupShare from Softalk Limited at http://www.WorkgroupShare.com . Each user can share their Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks. They control Read/Write/Create/Delete privs on each folder. There is also the ability to create Public Folders not specific to a single user. A true group Calendar, group Contacts, group Tasks and group Notes. They have a 30 trial period. The price is very reasonable and my clients are very happy. I also looked at iCal from http://www.brownbearsw.com/ . If anybody knows of others, please share. db To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
