Don't be upset, laugh at yourself! Ha, that's gotta be funny! Don't 'cha
just love it when you get caught doing something somewhat, oh ok, completely
boneheaded. I do. We had a long time programmer befuddled because he
couldn't get his modem to work. Turned out he had the phone line (rj11)
plugged into his ethernet port (rj45). We still tease him about that one.
:o)

We have another who is a high-paid consultant and is very smart and seems to
know everything, seriously, also very good natured, plays golf, and young
(under 30) to boot (yeah I'm somewhat jealous). He was trying to insert a
CD into one of our lower rackmounted servers, read not line of sight, and
jammed it into the case. Actually fit the only copy of Win2k Advanced
Server into the case above the CD tray, yes it had a motorized tray not a CD
slot! :o) After I disassembled the system a bit to pull that server out and
opened the case to retrieve said CD, it was found to be destroyed. What a
hoot, we laughed and laughed, good times, good times.

:o)

I did something stupid recently, I mean really stupid, unfortunatley I just
can't seem to remember what it was! :o)
