Hey Everyone!

Mail delivered from my Imail server is lagging, sometimes taking several
hours to deliver. While investigating/cleaning out the spool, I noticed
something that looked unusual.

Spool files, both "D" (data files) and "Q" files are being generated with no
extensions. Under Windows Explorer the file type is listed as "no". Also
when I open the "Q" files in notepad I can view the full name of what the
file should be.

The files names also appear to be shorter than those with extensions. Here
are some file name comparisons.

Files named without extensions:
"D6e4ff18"
"Qa1cf89f"

Files named with extensions:
"D6e680a8e00b0bf80.SMD"
"Qa20900b0002e08a9.SMP"

Currently, the spool has 3,845 files in the spool folder and 2,816 of them
have no file extension. When I open the que in the Imail interface I can
not see the files with no extension. My concern is that these files are not
be

Has anyone else seen this problem? I am assuming this is abnormal behavior.
Does anyone know what is causing the problem?

Thanks,

Anthony
