Off topic. Do any of you know a way to prevent Microsoft SMTP Server (Windows 2003) from writing it's delivery attempts to the System log? It's filling the log with delivery notices/failure information, while also possessing it's own standard text-based log. I cant understand why it needs to write in both places, and the Sytem log is so full of SMTP notices that it's hindering my analysis of other system-level event monitoring.
