Are you commenting on O&O or Defrag Manager? Douglas Traylor MIS Department Harbison-Fischer Mfg Co. It does run slow tho, and will not defrag very large file, such as a 5 gig .bkf file, for instance. ====================================== We can get rid of spam on your domain! , Anti-spam solutions http://www.clickdoug.com/mailfilter.cfm For hosting solutions http://www.clickdoug.com ====================================== ----- Original Message ----- From: Jamie Price To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 16, 2004 1:00 PM Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Winternals Defrag Manager Sorry, I meant to specify that this was for our Imail Servers, not just a general question (hence it's not really OT). I haven't investigated O&O; anyone here care to comment on it vs. Disk Keeper or Defrag Manager? Have you checked that one out? Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von Jamie Price Gesendet: Freitag, 16. April 2004 16:55 An: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Betreff: [IMail Forum] Winternals Defrag Manager We're using Defrag Manager for our Defrag solution, however we have noticed that it often takes a loooooong time to complete a defrag, and won't finish on an overnight like we'd like to (we're currently trying to defrag every night). I know many here recommend Disk Keeper, but I'm having a hard time convincing my management to go with that option. In addition, running a trial version of disk keeper didn't yield much in the way of results - at the end of the run the volume was still fragged and needed additional runs, and even after those it wasn't defragged well enough. Does anyone use Defrag Manager here? If so, any recommendations for it?
