Corporate environment, Imail 8.1 HF2, IMAP, Outlook 2000 SP3.

Yesterday evening the client hung as a user wanted to copy 5 mails
(total 180 kB) from the inbox to a subfolder. In this subfolder were 8
mails with a total of 334 kB. After a restart of outlook the client
can't access this folder.

Half an hour later he called me, i had a look at it and saw the .mbx
file with 2,5 GB in size. 20 Minutes later the file has about 4 GB, and
the processor of one of the 4 cpus is 100% used for 1 hour with imap. I
restartet imap. After that the growth stops, but i can't access the
file, not even can i copy or rename the file. If i go to that user in
Imail Admin and want to show "directory" Imail Admin hang.

I restarted the server this night, and now the file is locked as
yesterday. I think imap has locked it, but i can't stop imap during the
day for a test.

Anybody seen this before?
What should i do now?

Hermann
