Ok, so what exactly is the VAL helo check? I mean, what does it technically do? Here are my points of confusion:
X-IMAIL-SPAM-HELODOMAIN: (domain_name) - The message failed the HELO/EHLO domain validation. X-IMAIL-SPAM-VALHELO - The message failed the HELO/EHLO domain validation. I know that the HELO/EHLO test centers around the domain name that is given when the connecting server says "HI", however what test is done on that domain name for each of those two X-headers? Just a ping to make sure it's there? What is the difference between the two X-headers? And X-IMAIL-SPAM-INVALIDFROM: (from_address) - The message contained an invalid "FROM" address. X-IMAIL-SPAM-VALFROM: (<message ID>) - The message failed the "MAIL FROM" address validation. Again, what is the difference between these two? What test is performed to make sure the address is valid?
