As a general rule of thumb (in my own mind) I choose not to put Oracle on a windows based machine because of performance issues. If you intend to put Oracle on the same machine as Exchange (which runs on a Windows platform) I would recommend against it. Now this performance issue depending on who you talk to has been corrected.
My final answer: Don't put Oracle on the same server as Exchange. There is no telling what toes Oracle will step on in the Exchange environment.

Last week someone mentioned Workgroupshare as an alternative to Exchange and some of you responded with positive comments. I have a law firm client that has been looking at putting in an Exchange server in their office for the workgroup sharing functions (email will stay on our IMail server) but yesterday he mentioned Oracle's Collaboration Suite.
Anyone used the Oracle product or able to comment between the three (MS, Oracle and Workgroupshare) products?
