Actually it's excellent sales and PR because you know that once in the hands and
hooked the resistance to buying is drastically
reduced if the product works well. <wink>

I wouldn't really call that sales (or at least not good sales!) -- offering
to let someone use our product for free temporarily while a competing
product is fixed isn't really a sign of a good salesman. It isn't a sale
unless someone buys something. <G>
I just thought it would be a good solution to their problem (choosing
between allowing spam to come in or having the SMTP service continue to
crash), and one that wouldn't cost them any money. :)
