Hi list, I have about 1200 users that I have imported into Imail (version 8.05 - 2003.12.17.4 on Win2000 Server) using adduser.exe. All users imported fine, and everything looks fine in the Imail Administrator GUI. The user's names are all stored in the "First Name" field, but that's ok.
The problem is when I access the user administration via webmail. All I can see, is the users account name - not his real name, and I would REALLY like that. The weird thing is, that if I go to the Imail Administrator GUI and open up one user, then adds a space to any of the fields and removes the space again (just to make the 'Apply' button light up) and then applies the change (that is not really a change), then that particular users real name shows up in webmail just the way I want it. So I could basically fix the problem by running trough all 1200 users, changing something and then hitting 'Apply' for each and every one... but I don't have the time for that :). Is there a workaround for this, or can one of the supplied tools provide a function similar to pressing 'Apply' on all the users? I'm a bit in a hurry, so I'm hoping for a quick response.
