We created some clientside javascript that reads the domain from the web brower and redirects to a different port. That way you only need one site on port 80 and it can redirect to any domain that reaches it.
We also setup squirrelmail on port 80 for anyone who cannot hit the other ports. -A.j. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Brooks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 11:02 AM Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Webmail stopped working > Hello, > I was pulling out my hair with this issue myself yesterday. > Our afflicted server is very similar to the one described below and we went thru similar pains to make sure we had done everything we could to eliminate any other software as an issue. > Our temporary "workaround" was to fire up IIS on this server while moving webmail to port "5555" and create a website for each mail domain that redirected to the http://mail.domainname.com:5555 address. > I think it sucks but it works for now. > I just hope Ipswitch can come up with a real fix for their webmail server. > > Take care, > > R.
