Hello,

I have been having some issues with the x-rcpt-to header.

  1. When a list is sent out from a list on the imail server to a local account, the x-rcpt-to header is not correct.
let’s say the user is [EMAIL PROTECTED] the x-rcpt to would be like something x-rcpt-to: mpany.Com
    That’s all, no valid emailadress.
If sent through a regular email address it seems to be fine.
This is very seriuous for us since in the above example the to field would read the name of the list and the rcpt-to something invalid causing the mail to be dropped ( no valid user found ) by the pop collector who delivers the mail to our internal mailserver.

  2. I have the impression that imail does not correctly create a individual mail message for everyone listed in the to field. I regularly feel that people being cc’d or basically just the first person mentioned in the to field receives the mail.
It seems to me that the mail is placed only once in the mailbox and hence all the other people addressed lose the mail.

We have to use a pop tool to collect from a pop domain mailbox (located on the imail server ) and hence we need to use the rcpt-to clause.

This has always worked flawlessly with our previous mailservers but imail seems buggy in this area.

Thanks for any feedback to get this resolved as it really is mission critical to us

Best regards,

Bart Vincke
