   Hi Travis,

 

   Thanks for the insight.  It was set to Debug.  Then I read on ipswitch's site that this can be "resource intensive".  After unchecking that the logs are much easier to read and the processor hasn't jumped over 10% used.

Disk Usage?  Are you setting things to Debug mode?

Hi All,

   I'm currently running Imail server 7.1  (need to upgrade, haven't found this issue in new release notes).  We're running IMAP for approximately 60 users.  My issue is that whenever I have the syslogd service running, it and IMAP will take all 100% if not just a bit under of processor usage.

    We don't have a lot of mail going through the server, and there aren't a whole lot of other things running at the same time that would tie up the processor.  If I stop the syslogd service, everything returns back to normal.

    Has anybody seen this happen with their setups?
