FYI, I ban all e-mail with that attachment and others like it because it is
a absolutely stupid policy to remove a banned attachment and then let the
e-mail through. 9 times out of 10, that banned attachment is a virus, and
therefore the e-mail is a virus e-mail and is absolutely worthless to the
recipient.

Not only that, but if you know part of an E-mail is dangerous, letting the entire thing through (minus the part you know is dangerous) is very risky. While almost all viruses in the wild currently just use a single attachment, what is to prevent them from using multiple attachments, and perhaps adding various "bad" files (non-viruses) that it downloads from various web sites? In that case, Norton will prevent the virus from getting through, but the recipient will still have their computer damaged.
