IMail  uses mbox format with a proprietary index. If you dump the mbox
files   alone  into  an  IMail  user  directory,  the  index  will  be
automatically  recreated  on  first  access.  This method can be quite
processor-intensive,  but  whether  it'll work for you is dependent on
the size and number of files you're transferring.
