If I understand this right, Imail will not attempt to deliver the
message until the message is completely received (noted by the Q* file),
so this message that did not finish was not touched (and the remote
server sending it most likely retried at a later time). If this is
true, I'll just ignore the messages and try to see if there is any
reason our server would be dropping SMTP connections. If I'm mistaken,
let me know (actually if I am right, feel free to confirm that as well).

"T" files are actually "Q" files where the "D" files are not complete. IN
all cases these will not go anywhere and were caused by a break in the SMTP
conversation. Good news is the message was most likely retried later and
went through

Subject: [IMail Forum] Accumulating D*.smd & T*.smd files
Every so often our mail server will accumulate a few thousand small
"D*.smd" files with cooresponding "T*.smd" files. These files can be a
day or so old. Any ideas why these would be piling up? Here are the
contents of one of them ("domain.net" is our domain & "user" is one of
the users on our server):

I haven't been seeing any trend in where these messages are coming from
or where they are going to, but I'll keep looking.
