I was browsing my spam filter, and found a list of "good" mail that had odd sounding subjects.
This is a typical header:
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [BAD SIGNAL]Status Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Errors-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-BeenThere: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
This looks suspiciously like a mailing list named "BAD SIGNAL". Most mailing lists send out the E-mails with the recipients in Bcc:'s (in other words, the recipient does not appear in the headers of the E-mail).
No where in this header is any user on my network. Am I relaying??
The only way to know for sure (assuming your anti-spam software scans outgoing E-mail) is to check the log files to see who the E-mail really was to.
