We're running Imail Server 8.01, and we just extended our service contract for another year. With that said, and with all that's being discussed about the benefits of a server upgrade, I'd like to ask about the path I should take for the upgrade.
F'rinstance, I've understood from one source that I can't take certain hotfixes unless I install 8.05 first. Or that I can't do 8.12 unless I have 8.1 installed. I have looked at the knowledge base, but as far as I could tell, this kind of question hasn't been answered. With that kind of variety, and considering my starting point, what's the most likely path for a clean upgrade? Thanks!
