We recently upgraded from 6.06 to 8.04. When we upgraded Imail, we moved everything to a new server, though we're still running Win2K, 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4.

With the previous server we wrote a COM object that generates lists from an ASP page, creating the directories, the files, and adding everything into the registry (to allow our users to create their own lists without being an Admin). Now, with the new server, that COM object isn't working and we're wondering if anyone has any ideas about why it isn't (the directories and files are created, but the registry values are not inserting).

Even though both servers are running the same version of Windows, in Admin Tools -> Component Services - > COM+ Applications, things are a little different. I can give you details on the differences if you think this might be the cause.

We're wondering if a) anyone knows of a COM object that generates lists, or b) if someone might know why our COM object isn't working with the new server.

Thanks, as always, for your help.

Kevin
