This  is definitely one of the most opaque posts I've seen in a while.
You're  following the manual, but you don't see anything in the manual
that  specifically says, "Oh, by the way, this works as indicated." Do
you usually see that kind of thing? :))

So:  what's  it  about  your  installation  that  makes you think that
peering  does  not  apply  to  it?  What  are you trying to get out of
peering?  If  you're  looking  for redundancy (per your other thread),
peering  is  the  wrong direction; it's for manual load balancing, not
redundancy.
