Here's what happens

telnet imailserver.com 25
mail from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
rcpt to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
data
blablabla
.

This will actually send the email to the intended recipient since it's not
"relaying" to an external mail server (expected behavior).

I want to make sure that the SMTP authenticate the e-mail sender at ALL time
(if imail permits it) even if they claim they're from imailserver.com and
sending to imailserver.com

Hope it's a little clearer.

Yes, set mail relay options to "No Mail Relay".

What does "using some unknown users" mean?

So you're already requiring AUTH.
