If I use SMTP Control Access - Deny All, Except for those listed. Does that affect SMTP Auth traffic? Meaning if I list a few IP addresses, but the sender is using Auth, can they still send or no. I am leaning towards no, but I figured I would ask.
You are correct -- they cannot send. The SMTP Control Access file allows/denies IPs from connecting to your mailserver. So if you only allow certain IPs, any other IP will not be able to connect at all (not even to send local users E-mail). So "Deny All" should only be used in rare cases (such as when you have an intranet mailserver that should not be accessible from the outside world).
