What this error mean?
Most likely, a broken firewall blocked the human-readable part of the SMTP response.
What probably happened here is that your IMail server tried sending an E-mail to another mailserver, and when your mailserver told the remote mailserver the E-mail address to send the E-mail to, they said that that address did not exist. But their firewall then munged the response to "xxxxxx" -- so it could be "mailbox full" or some other more useful message.
