If your only mean to upgrade is looking for collaboration effort, just wait until it gets there. They are now talking 2005, if I recall correctly. They say beginning of 2005.. but just bet to middle or end of 2005. I hope I am wrong.
In the other hand, latest version of Imail has a lot of new features and also solves some security problems. If after reading the latest release notes of Imail you don't think you need any of the new stuff or fixes.. just keep your current version until the collaboration features come. Just my two cents.
