I received an HTML message the other day that included a hyperlinked
image. Since I got it in Outlook, I wanted to analyze the message in
Outlook Express (view Message Source). So I forwarded it to a home
address, but never saw it come back. I then forwarded it to two more
personal email addresses, but never heard from it again.

I was able to forward it to the same account it came from, then opened
OE and downloaded it there. After looking at it, I wondered why this
message got stopped by three other mail services. Furthermore, I was
wondering if anyone had an Imail rule that would do the same.

As a carrot, I have discovered that IE 6 (and OE 6, natch) has a
built-in setting that forces the user to read all messages in plain text
format, which makes an appealing message look more nasty, and even
reveals the dirty link itself. But if there's a known working rule, I'd
like to apply that before I upgrade and adjust 100+ workstations.

Thanks!
