Do you have an on access scanner scanning the spool directory? If so, you must exclude this directory. And the users directory.

If I send a message to my own domain, the Imail (8.05) log looks like this: 08:24 09:55 SMTPD(35D90540) [63.134.130.107] connect 63.134.128.150 port 35930 08:24 09:55 SMTPD(35D90540) [63.134.128.150] helo joink.com 08:24 09:55 SMTPD(35D90540) [63.134.128.150] mail from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 08:24 09:56 SMTPD(35D90540) [63.134.128.150] rcpt to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 08:24 09:56 SMTPD(35D90540) [63.134.128.150] f:\imail\spool\D56ff35d90540ee12.SMD 133 08:24 09:56 SMTP-(04846CCE) processing f:\imail\spool\Q56ff35d90540ee12.SMD 08:24 09:56 SMTP-(04846CCE) finished f:\imail\spool\Q56ff35d90540ee12.SMD status=1 However, I have a couple of domains where it seems that mail isn't arriving to users. In terms of the logs, we get everything except the last two steps shown above - i.e. the logs reflect the transaction and the creation of the .smd file, but not the queue manager activity of processing the .SMD issue. However, the .smd files don't continue to exist, even though the content isn't appended to any user's .mbx file. It seems to me that it's a queue manager issue? This problem comes and goes, it isn't constant, which makes it very frustrating to pin down. I'm sure I remember reading something about this in this forum, but a search of the archive doesn't pull much up. I realize this is a pretty broad diagnosis, but does anyone have any ideas?
