The thing is, when I go to DNSStuff.com and do a reverse lookup, it states that I do have the required reverse record.
What could be my problem. my dns server is: 209.0.84.100
When I do a dig using this server, i get the NXDOMAIN error. I'm not sure what to do next.
What that means is that you do have the reverse DNS entry, but your local DNS server thinks that it is authoritative for it and that there is no reverse DNS entry.
So you would need to set up your local DNS server not to be authoritative for that reverse DNS entry (or add that reverse DNS entry to the local DNS server).
