Best thing would be to backup the entire imail folder as it
usualy contains all user mailboxes, list files, user settings and so
on.
Maybe keep the logfiles in the spoolfolder out from this
backup.
A copy of the registry wouldn't be enough to recover
quickly your server.

Subject: [IMail Forum] What do I need to quickly reinstall Imail?Hi,
As yet ANOTHER hurricane approaches, this one looking the worst so far, we have decided to burn the necessary IMAIL files/folders to a CD in case our mail server doesn't survive the storm.
The plan for quick recovery would be…..
Install Imail on a new server, with the same host name and IP address. Copy the IMAIL registry key from the CD that was burnt, above, to the registry of the new server.
What else needs to be burnt to this CD as far as IMAIL goes?
We have a bunch of lists and a virtual domain. Would all that be included in the IMAIL reg key?
Thanks in advance.
Sharyn
