Hi Scott

We had a similar issue 2 weeks back
The main issue for us was to determine the account the spammer was using to authenticate
The imail log does not allow you to trace this info
It is only available in the Qxxx.smd file (if it is still in the spool)
Can you add this info in junkmail logs (since i believe junkmail do open/read the Q.SMD files)
I is easier to request sush a feature from you than to ask ipswitch to add it to their logs

Can you please tell me a good Log Analyzer Software through
which I can find out something concrete for me.

That isn't what you need. :) For a *relative* idea of whether or not there is a problem, you can use a log file analyze. But for a concrete idea -- the actual answer, and how to fix it -- you need to learn how to read the log files. http://www.declude.com/help_answer.asp?ID=128 will help you learn.

If you aren't sure of what to do, start by taking one of those .SMD files that you know isn't a legitimate E-mail, and search the IMail SMTP log file for the spool file name minus the first character and extension. You'll find one line that has "SMTPD" in it. Look for the 8-character process identifier (in parentheses, such as "(00000a81)"), and search back in the log file for the previous entries with that identifier. You'll then find the log file entries for that E-mail. You can post them here, and we can provide further advice.
