I have upgraded to killer webmail on Imail 8.05, since then my users
cannot add users through the webmail interface.

The users they add are only added to the users.lst file and not the
users.txt. The list is only distributed to users.txt. The freak side
to this is, even if the users.txt (the one that works) is populated and
functioning; once a user is added to the webmail interface (users.lst)
the entire list breaks.

I found list administration very strange. This is how I understand things.

'users.lst' is only a list of email addresses. These are the addresses the list is distributed to.
'users.txt' has the same list of email addresses along with full names (if entered) within quotes. IMail Administrator updates this file (along with users.lst) when you use the Add or Remove buttons from the Users tab. If you send email to the list to subscribe, IMail updates the two files as well. (I don't use the 'list' or 'subscribe' feature)

I find this very 'wierd' in IMail. If you check the Users Guide, it says that typos in the address file (users.txt) are ignored when sending a message to the list. In other words- the users file users.lst is what counts. Users.txt is what is returned by a 'list listname' command. If you update the list using webmail, you really don't need the address file. Did you notice that webmail additions don't show in the administration screen? You have to click the 'Addresses' button to see them (users.lst).

When I added a subscriber using Webmail- it was added to 'users.lst'.
Are your two files 'in sync'? Try deleting (or rename/move) users.txt? If you do need the 'pretty names'- copy users.txt to usrs.lst- then edit users.lst and add "Full Name" where needed without changing the order. Then when you check the 'Users' tab in Imail Admin, you'll see only those addresses that have "Full Name" after the email.

Quoting you- 'users.txt (the one that works)' - that is not what I see on my system!
Have I made it clear as mud?!

Ipswitch support could not find an answer for me and wanted me to fix a
couple issues with cancelled domains through the registry.

Unfortunately, log files do not show any information list distribution.

I am hoping one of you has fixed this already.
