While this posting is off-topic from the topics normally posted in this forum, I felt is necessary to cross-post because of the prior discussion of SPF and the potential impact of this new anti-spam protocol on all who are members of this list.
The SPF discussion group, under the authority of developer and founder, Meng Weng Wong, recently appointed a group to create and submit a draft proposal for an RFC for SFP with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) under the authority of provisions of section 3 of RFC 3667. The initial SPF draft is now available to be read, online, at Text version: http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/spf/draft-lentczner-spf-00.txt HTML version: http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/spf/draft-lentczner-spf-00.html The authority to publish the draft and all of the contact information for the persons responsible for the draft are listed as: Mark Lentczner 1209 Villa Street Mountain View, CA 94041 United States of America EMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] URL: http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/ Meng Weng Wong Singapore EMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] URL: http://spf.pobox.com/ Both authors are very active in the discussion group and have been open to suggestions and modifications from all members of the group. To join the SPF discussion group and stay on top of this fast moving potential anti-spam tool, please consider joining the SPF discussion list at: http://spf.pobox.com/mailinglist.html. Join the DISCUSSION list if you are interested in following the path of this certification process and seeing the basis for the RFC. A complete archive of the group's pre- and post-submission discussion is also available in the archives of the group.
