The bugs that were introduced in 8.13 affect the way that the To: line is displayed. Essentially they fail to insert a <BR> tag after the To value in the tag output and cause the next header line to show up immediately following the To, regardless of what that line is. For example, a To might now look like the following:
To : [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Bugs in 8.13 Webmail interface that need to be fixed.
This also affects the display of the headers when viewed. I have tracked this problem down to the code that is output from the following two tags:
<!--IMAIL.MessageToPlain--> <!--IMAIL.MessageHeaderWithoutFrom-->
These two tags also have a bug in them that does not always convert "<" and ">" to their HTML equivalents for display in the pages, and the net effect is that any address without the conversion disappears in the HTML output because this looks like an HTML tag to a Web browser. This bug is at least 6 months old and possibly much older than that, and it affects about 1 out of about 20 messages from my estimation. I would really like to see this fixed as well.
Ipswitch, please fix these things.
