My Imail directory has Everyone with full control. Those permissions are
inherited from the root drive - D in my case. It's not shared so it's no big
deal.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Windows Security Issue

Hi,

We are running IMail 8.10 on Windows 2000 Server.

What should the Security rights of the drive that IMail is installed on look
like?

I'm not sure what it looked like before, but a change was made in the
Security on that drive and then nobody could connect to the IMail server.
We rebooted the IMail server, and none of the IMail services were able to
start. They all had an Access Denied error.

We put Everyone with Full Control in the Security and it fixed the problem.
My question is, what SHOULD the security be?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Melissa
