Yep. DV takes the report from the virus scanner, and if a virus, vulnerability, or banned file is found the Q* and D* files are moved to a virus subdirectory, and whatever configured notifications go out. You can then use whatever scripting you want to manage the files from there. There are freeware tools to review the virus directory.
For archiving non-infected email, you should use a typical archival method with IMail....like a copyall account for everything, or an individual mirror account.
