But sending a message is what I want to do. Several seem to get messages. I
want them authenticated through my server so that they are white-listed.
Also I want to make sure they don't yank the messages from the server.

The damn Verizon Treo I got doesn't have a mail client at all and they want
me to set up some hokey forwarding...

Any client that is capable of running IMAP should be able to do this as the
SMTP authentication is done only when sending a message. The IMAP or POP3 is
only for receiving and should not require SMTP authentication.

Anyone out there know of an e-mail client that supports SMTP AUTHENTICATION
and will leave the messages on the server? Something that may work well
with IMAIL?
