I'm working with Imail from v4 on. v8 was already a naughtiness. Pricing and functionality for spam- and virus-filtering was and are far away from what I can accept for my company and our customers. ICS will be definitevely the point where we will switch to another solution if it will be available only as announced today. Asking 8k USD for this? Is Imail completely mad? Maybe ask what you want for collaboration but http://www.opengroupware.org/ will bring you back to the earth. :-) Still the fact they announced six months ago an _optional_ collaboration module for v8 can be interpreted as missguidance for many people buying v8 because they're waiting for this module. And also for people working with Imail as "simple" Mailserver, and nothing else. Well our v8 will work for at least two years and in the meantime there will be some other solution.
