I saw Marketwave do this years ago on their stats software trying to change it over to a service. They were a decent competitor to Web Trends at the time. Now their business is out of business.
If you make such a radical change, people don't forget and this will be in many forums, not just this one, for a long long time. Ipswitch will be playing damage control for years on this one. I have been a guest to ISPCON and many forums on many of these issues and I will definitely tell this story in many open forum discussions for some time. I am one of Chicago's oldest ISPs, having my first online system in 1980 here. I remember when John Junod's picture was on the early copies of WS_FTP. ;) I really resent being treated this way. I would like to see Declude make their product work on a few alternatives right away. We will be dropping Ipswitch and never do business with them ever again. We will be dumping Imail as soon as we can. -- Roger Heath [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.rleeheath.com ----- Copy of Original Message(s): ----- KB> Summary of today's Activity KB> This is what has made it into my mailbox to this point KB> Negative comments KB> Unique Users 60 KB> Positive comments KB> Unique Users 0 KB> Total Negative comments 108 KB> I am sure this is not even close to the number of installations that KB> IPSwitch has but represents the MostKnowledgable part of the user base.
