Our company has been using Imail since 1996 (version 1, if I remember correctly.)  Due to our own collaboration needs, I installed Exchange early this year.  I looked at Bynari’s products (Insight Server and Insight Connector) and determined that they were terrible in comparison to Exchange.  When Ipswitch announced Imail 8.1, they said that their “collaboration” was going to license Bynari’s Insight Connector, which is a plugin for Outlook.  I knew that this was not the solution for us, but it was nice that they option was going to be available.  I kept Imail with Declude as the front-end for Exchange, and planned to for years to come.  I do some odd mail routing for our multiple companies and domains and Imail makes it easy.  There simply is no way I can continue to support Imail.  Forcing the product to be everything for everyone is a fatal error and I will be ditching Imail for my front-end processing.

It’s been about nine years since I’ve written Sendmail rules but it looks like it’s time to dust off the ‘ol O’Reilly bat book.
