It is hard to believe that all they did was combine the existing products together and force you buy the package. They should have spent the development time fixing and improving what they had. I know I would be willing to pay more for things like SPF support, improved HTML Spam detection, etc.
I still have a hard time understanding why they made this decision. They said that the SA's were not covering the cost of support. With the support that is provided on this list, it is hard to imagine that they would have many support calls. I think I have called once or twice over the past 2 years. If they are losing money on support, they should fix that problem by having per call support charges (like most other software companies). Instead of fixing the problem, they drop IMail from the product line. I just don't understand how they came to this decision. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James P. The 3 software programs are not tied together one bit by code and do not rely on each other for anything. The other installers install Imail 8.13 and IM 2.01 individually If you go to www.workgroupshare.com you can buy the collaboration software component 250 user license for $2995. Its almost as if Ipswitch is selling Imail, and IM as a cheap add on to this workgroupshare software. All of this just makes you want to say What in tarnation is going on here?
