Message Sniffer plugs in nicely to both Declude and mxGuard. Message Sniffer significantly improves the performance of both products but is not "required" - just highly recommended.
We recommend it as well. Excellent product, excellent support.
Message Sniffer does not plug into IMail directly, and we will probably not pursue that option since Declude and mxGuard do a fantastic job already.

mxGuard is a great product for the budget conscious folks who have simple requirements.
If your requirements include stopping spam and viruses, then yes, it is a simple, effective, and very low-cost solution.
IMail support will continue. Soon to be released for SmarterMail, MailEnable, and a generic commandline version for other Windows email platforms. Currently researching feasibility of a Linux/FreeBSD version.
Declude is the "top gun" of anti-spam and anti-virus tools for IMail, and soon many other platforms.
Declude indeed is a good product. While it has been around longer than mxGuard, it is considerably more expensive. Just like IMail ICS (which is also a good product), it may include options you don't need and don't want to pay for. I encourage you compare both products before making a purchase.
