Quite true. But until someone can finally identify the true source of the problem, only finger-pointing can occur.


My personal position is that no code that uses the Windows API should be at fault for the several networking issues that IMail users occasionally encounter (such as the Linksys BSOD, and randomly terminated TCP/IP connections). Those sound like issues that are 100% caused by the NIC and its drivers.

However, without proof one way or the other, it's difficult to get the problem solved -- and unfortunately, I don't believe anyone has gotten the proof necessary.
