I suppose you have a point John, but the many pointed comments is what
stirred Mr. Pollack enough to promise a solution by tonight in some time
zone. I think we've all already been patient enough with them and we are
being kicked in the teeth once again by the lack of the promised official
response from Ipswitch.

Really, this is a no brain very easy decision for them to make. Do they
continue to get solid revenue from continuing to sell their SA at a decent
and affordable price for Imail only which they must continue to develop and
improve in order to explore the newer ICS markets? Or do they just take a
hit and try to make all of their money from just a few that may or may not
decide to roll with the flow here. Really what is there to think about? They
made a blunder and they need to fix it while trying to take as little damage
from it as they can.

If they had a solid history of making huge and significant improvements to
their products, paying more for upgrades may not be such an unfeasible
concept. However, the many people still running older versions attest to the
amount of incentive they've given to upgrade even at their more modest and
logical previous pricing levels. We didn't mind the $495 much, although I
think we weren't personally getting a whole lot for it. However it was
logical enough to make good business sense and allow us to continue paying
it for years. Where they are going with this ICS thing is somewhere into the
twilight zone! Sorry, some of us are out of patients right now! Some of us
need to start sooner than others with the new plan, whatever that may be.
They owe us what Mr. Bollack promised, in a timely manner and now is the
time!

This line of posts is taking on a personal flame look. Instead of everyone
trying to make something happen, just sit back and be patient.

After all, patience is a virtue.
