Hello Jeff, JR> They also do not support any storage in databases, it is all XML files for JR> domain and user config storage.
They store ALL data in the file system. (so they told me). This would make a backup/restore extremely straight forward as all you would have to do is load the executable on another machine and copy the files into it. The drawback is the non dbase storage. Not sure if these two issues could be squared. May take a rewrite of functionality to use their web services to manipulate user data from external apps instead of using your own database. They did tell me also that the entire program can be managed through web services. That's two huge pluses for me, no command line utilities and no registry backup/restore. One drawback is they don't have program aliases but sounds like that may be coming soon as it's pretty easy functionality. -- Best regards, David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
