The lists I have set up (using the IMail Administrator) automatically create an alias for "owner-<listname>@domain". However, IMail seems to recognize both "owner-<listname>@domain" and "<listname>[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as valid addresses and forwards the email to the stated "Resolves To".
Checking from "Outside the firewall", RCPT TO: either owner-listname or listname-owner work fine. It's OK for them to check the user, as the user ought to be there. Is it? However, some email being sent out get rejected with the following message: 550 SMTP connection refused - Invalid email address in MAIL FROM: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Is the rejecting host actualy testing the email address? Is there a workaround?
