Evans,

Since new lists work, that implies that imailsrv.exe is OK, so the
lists that don't work must have something wrong in the registry or
with its files.

Can you subscribe/unsub from an existing list? If not that would make
me believe the files are foobar.

Did something scan the lists files or move/remove
(\domain\lists\listname) them or otherwise change their contents? If
you have a backup from before the problem, does restoring the list
files have any effect?

Are the list files being modified by a program (other than imailsrv)
or other operation outside of IMail? That could cause concurrency
problems or introduce non-acceptable characters into the files (a
space in the wrong place, like at the end of a line, could stop a
list!).

If you rename the list files and create new ones with just one user
(copy them from a working test list), does the list now work? If so,
the problem is in the files!

Compare registry settings for a working list to those of a non-working
list. Do you find anything unusual?

Are the aliases (listname-owner, owner-list, listname) for the list
still there and defined correctly (compare to functional list)? Did
you change the OHN for this domain? That could make the alias
definitions incorrect.

HTH
Daniel Donnelly
