Hmmm...what was the problem with AOL users?  As with anyone else we have a
number of AOL users and haven't heard of any problems using MS FTP.

With IIS FTP I found that AOL users couldn't access the site. There's
documentation on that somewhere. Since most of our reps are AOL users,
it was a problem. IIS is over kill for FTP anyway. I dumped it for Linux
Red Hat 9 and VSFTP. Much easier.
