I've include a sample of both the rdeliver and ldeliver. You'll see that the file in the spool has bytes, but when it goes back out, it's zero.

Do you by any chance run a program at midnight to clear the spool directory?
Um, I run "START CMD /C M:\IMAIL\ISPLCLN -N 3 -L 7", but that's it. This example just happened to be at the top of the log; there are others further down just like it.
Do you do that at midnight? If so, I can almost guarantee that it is causing the problem. That file is designed to delete stuff, and stuff is getting deleted. And ISPLCLN has been known to be very, very buggy (meaning that I can't say if the latest version works properly, and there have been at least several years where it did not work properly).
If you're seeing the same thing throughout the day (where the SMTPD lines start at at least 00:10), though, it could be a different issue.
